For Connection, Curiosity, and Catharsis
Welcome! My name is Laurie Katz and I am an elementary teacher, animal lover, runner, and Boston native, Go Sox!
I am also a rape survivor and advocate. My freshman year of college, I was sexually assaulted. I wrote a book, Liar Liar: Breaking the Silence on Sexual Assault, about my rape and recovery and hope to help others by sharing my story.
“Both timely and timeless, LIAR LIAR is the powerful and heart-wrenching true story of one young woman on her journey to become a survivor instead of a victim, to choose life instead of death, truth instead of shame. Readers will undoubtedly find pieces of themselves in the pages of this bold, honest, and unvarnished memoir—I cannot recommend this book highly enough.” - Amber Smith, New York Times bestselling author of The Way I Used to Be and The Last to Let Go
I don’t have all the answers, but I do enjoy trying to figure it out. Thank you for visiting!
